I wore this dress for the first time ten years ago. It's so pretty and has been sitting in my closet since then just waiting to be worn again. In this age of social media, people are a lot more conscious of the outfits they wear and the frequency in which they wear them. Admittedly, I try to space out how often I wear my garments; however, I LOVE to challenge myself to restyle my pieces in different ways. I don't have the budget or desire to wear an outfit just once and never repeat it.

Now waiting ten years to wear this dress again is a bit extreme, but I initially wore it to one of my wedding-related events, and just didn't think about wearing it again until recently.

Since this is such a beautiful, soft, flowy dress, I decided to "toughen it up" a little by adding a leather jacket and my combat-style wedge boots.

When I first purchased these Fenty boots, I was a little apprehensive, because they're a little different from items that I usually add to my wardrobe, but I'm so glad I bought them. They're so versatile and I'm able to wear them with so many different types of outfits.

The message here is that sometimes you need to step outside your comfort zone and try different things. And don't be afraid to get creative and remix your pieces.
