Escapism

Wow!

Since I have last updated my blog things have gone from bad to worse here in the United States. With so many terrible events taking place in the world, it can be a challenge to stay happy and upbeat. I find myself overdosing on news coverage and I have to make a conscious effort to unplug and find some form of escapism.

During these stressful and challenging times, it’s critical that we all take time to recharge and preserve our sanity. Fashion has always been one of the things that brings me joy, and in recent months I have allowed myself to become distracted. I am now redirecting some of my energy to focus on things that feed my spirit. I have made some updates to my website and will be working on additional projects related to The Fearless Fashionista, so stay tuned.

For those who don’t know, last year I wrote a book titled Find Your Fabulous: The Fearless Fashionista Approach to Developing and Owning Your Style. Writing that book was such a labor of love. It took me quite a bit of time to take that project from conceptualization to realization, but it was a major accomplishment for me. That project allowed me to immerse myself into something that I really care about.
