Fashion Forum - Episode 2: Allow Me To Reintroduce Myself

Hello my fashionable friends,

On last week’s segment of Fashion Forum, I took time to introduce myself, provide background on why and how I started my blog, The Fearless Fashionista®, and I discussed my journey to becoming a published author. Check out the segment here.

I created my blog, The Fearless Fashionista, to express my love for style and fashion, with my main goal being to build up a library of content and to find my voice as a blogger. I also wanted to impart the style lessons I’ve learned, share fashion tips, and provide style inspiration to those who want or need it.

Writing Find Your Fabulous: The Fearless Fashionista® Approach to Developing and Owning Your Style

I wanted to write a book for a long time, and was inspired by “Carrie Bradshaw,” lead character from television series Sex and the City. For those who aren’t familiar with the program, “Carrie” wrote a weekly newspaper column and aggregated that content to write a book. That’s how I approached writing Find Your Fabulous. I started with content that I originally published on my blog, and rounded it out with supplemental information and stories to give it a complete and cohesive feel.

Find Your Fabulous is not just a book, it’s a style solution. I outline my four-step process, The D.I.V.A. Essentials™, which provides a step-by-step guide to help readers pull together a look that is authentic and make sense for their lives. I also include style and money saving tips, and personal stories to make fashion and style seem more accessible.

If you haven’t purchased your copy of Find Your Fabulous yet, the digital and paperback versions are available here. Use code FINDYOURFABULOUS to get free shipping through 8/15/20.

My Outfit Details

These photos are from a recent photo shoot that I did to lift my spirits. Since COVID hit, I haven’t had too many reasons to get dressed up, so I decided to create a reason. I threw on a tulle skirt — well, because they’re fabulous. To me, tulle skirts are the epitome of femininity, grace, and elegance.

I got this skirt from Amazon last year. The Halogen green polka dot utility jacket came from Nordstrom. I also purchased the skirt, but haven’t worn it yet. And my shoes are several years old by Sam Edelman. I chose fuchsia shoes to help minimize the “princess” vibe of the skirt.
