What if the next 15 minutes completely shifted how you show up tomorrow?
What you wear tomorrow starts with a choice you make today.
Before the day gets away from you, take a moment to get intentional.
Not rushed. Not reactive. Just present. This is a simple practice I recommend to my clients, and it’s one I follow myself:
Put on music you love. Set a timer. Go to your closet and build an outfit for tomorrow—including accessories, shoes, hosiery, and undergarments/shapewear.
Start with one outfit
Choose a piece you haven’t worn in a while. It could be that bold blouse you bought because it made you feel something. A pair of shoes you keep meaning to wear. A blazer or skirt that feels a little outside your comfort zone. Start there, then build your look around it using staples you already love.
This is how you begin to make your wardrobe work with you instead of against you.
Why this habit works
Planning your outfit ahead of time reduces the mental noise that can cloud your morning. It gives you a sense of clarity. It creates space to make decisions from a grounded place—not a rushed one.
It also helps you reconnect with your clothes. We all have things we say we’ll wear “someday.” That day rarely comes unless we make a conscious choice to reach for them. This little ritual changes that.
And here’s the truth: the more you engage with your wardrobe, the more confident you become. Style isn’t just something you have. It’s something you build.
It’s about more than clothes…it’s about energy
Planning ahead is about more than looking good. It’s about aligning how you look with how you want to feel.
Whether you’re heading to a big meeting, logging into Zoom, or simply moving through your daily routine, the right outfit can shift your entire energy. It becomes a mirror for your mindset, your presence, and the version of you you’re stepping into.
So tonight, or whenever you have the space, try this:
Choose one piece you haven’t worn in a while.
Set a timer for 15 minutes.
Create a head-to-toe look that reflects the woman you’re becoming, and not just the one who needs to get out the door.
